NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), India, announces Revised Logistic Fee for NAAC Peer Experts Team Visit to a Higher Education Institution for its Inspection & Assessment.
• NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), India, has announced its Revised Logistic Fee for Peer Experts Team Visit applicable to all Higher Education Institutions in India.
• After an institution has cleared the Pre-Qualifier Stage, it has to deposit the revised Logistic Fee towards logistic expenses for the arrangement of the NAAC Peer Experts Team’s Visit for Inspection & Assessment of the institution.

“Accreditation and assessment shall become mandatory, and every Higher Education Institution must be accredited.
“Only those Universities/Colleges which have NAAC grading or NIRF ranking will be eligible for inclusion in the list maintained by the UGC under Section 12 B of the UGC Act, 1956 for receiving financial assistance.”

• The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar, with a CGPA of 3.85 out of 4 at an A++ grade which will be valid for the next seven years. GNDU authorities claimed that it is the only state/central/private university in India to get this score.
Due to strenuous efforts of Punjab government, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar has got A++ grade and becomes the only State/Central/Private University in India to get 3.85 score in NAAC. Chief Minister @BhagwantMann congratulated University staff & faculty for this rare feat.
