The all-new 2008 Infiniti EX35, which goes on sale at Infiniti retailers nationwide USA in late December 2007, made its world production debut yesterday August 18 on the lawns near the famed Pebble Beach Golf Course's 18th green. The Infiniti EX35, the latest addition to the Infiniti lineup, was driven onto a platform by Nissan Senior Vice President and Design Director Shiro Nakamura. Also shown for the first time was the new 2008 Infiniti M sport sedan, which features extensive exterior and interior enhancements, as well as the addition of a new all-wheel drive M45x model. |GlobalGiants.com|

The New Chrysler marked the start of a new era by bringing back its Pentastar corporate logo, announcing a new corporate advertising campaign and staging a celebratory rally for thousands of employees on the lawn outside its company headquarters. The “First Day” events followed the August 3 contract signing under which New York-based Cerberus Capital Management assumed majority ownership of the company, with former owner DaimlerChrysler AG maintaining a significant minority stake.

Some 600 Ford Deuce Coupe's from around the USA were on hand August 10 for Ford's 75th Anniversary of the famous Deuce Coupe. The Deuce Coupe and the Ford Flathead V8 engine spawned the customized car craze and hot-rod culture in California in the 1940's (now a $3.6 billion annual industry).
