ST. LOUIS -- SeaWorld is launching a new Web site and it needs your help. The Orlando, Fla., San Diego, Calif., and San Antonio, Texas marine life adventure parks have issued a call for photographs and reflections from park visitors that will form the backbone of the parks' new Web site.
According to Joseph A. Couceiro, Corporate Marketing Vice-President for SeaWorld's parent company, Busch Entertainment Corp., the strategy is intended to create a true interactive online experience for fans of SeaWorld and to engage them before and after their visit.

Photo: SeaWorld guest Daniella Koontz watches bottlenose dolphins with her daughter Lillian Ava in a photograph taken by Steven Joshua Koontz, the first guest photo accepted by SeaWorld as part of a Web site design that will feature photos and accounts from its guests. (Busch Entertainment Corporation) |GlobalGiants.com|
"By our reckoning something approaching a billion photographs have been taken by SeaWorld guests," he said, noting that the estimate excludes the thousands of cameras and SeaWorld photographs ruined in the infamous 'Splash Zone' at Shamu Stadium. "The history of these parks is in shoeboxes across America and around the world. There are remarkable photos of families enjoying SeaWorld in those boxes and we want them."
In addition to SeaWorld, Busch Entertainment Corporation operates Busch Gardens parks in Tampa, Fla. and Williamsburg, Va.; Discovery Cove in Orlando; Sesame Place in Langhorne, Pa. near Philadelphia; Adventure Island in Tampa; Water Country USA in Williamsburg. Aquatica, SeaWorld's water park, is under construction in Orlando and is scheduled to open next spring. |GlobalGiants.com|

The A380 has completed a highly successful series of route proving flights, underscoring the aircraft's ability to operate at gateways around the world - while also generating excitement that comes with the introduction of a new way to fly.
These latest evaluations involved the participation of A380 customer Lufthansa and were focused primarily on the United States, with the aircraft making visits to New York, Chicago and Washington, D.C. The A380 was given an enthusiastic welcome at each of the American stopovers, and it provided impressive demonstrations of the aircraft's low noise levels, excellent manoeuvrability and interoperability with various airport runways, taxiways and terminal facilities.

The 12-day commercial route proving missions began with a typical trans-Atlantic crossing for Lufthansa - departing its Frankfurt hub airport on 19 March for New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport. The A380 carried more than 400 passengers, touching down to cheers and applause at one of America's busiest airports.

In the following days, the A380 performed a New York-Chicago roundtrip, an eastbound Atlantic return crossing to Frankfurt, and a long-range flight to Hong Kong. Arriving back at Frankfurt on 25 March, ground crews made a realistic airline turnaround of the aircraft in 95 minutes, readying the A380 for its departure to Washington, D.C. This important demonstration highlighted the A380's ability to be processed rapidly at the world's gateway airports, including deplaning and boarding, fuelling, cabin preparation and aircraft servicing. |GlobalGiants.com|
