Photo: On Sunday, Midwest Airlines flew two professional canine athletes and their trainer from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. to New York. As part of a special arrangement approved by the Federal Aviation Administration and Midwest Airlines, Mako, an Australian Shepherd, occupied a seat in the aircraft's main cabin and Nemo, a Jack Russell Terrier, traveled below the seat of their trainer, Lourdes Edlin.
