U.S. Deploys 10,000 Troops in Iraq in the Aftermath of Deadly Truck Bombing : GlobalGiants.com
The U.S. military deployed 10,000 soldiers backed by attack helicopters in a big offensive against al-Qaida north of Baghdad on Tuesday as a truck bomber struck in the capital, killing 75 people near a Shiite mosque.

Space Shuttle Atlantis Departs Space Station After 10 Day Repair Mission : GlobalGiants.com
Anchored to a foot restraint on the Space Station Remote Manipulator System (SSRMS) or Canadarm2, astronaut Patrick Forrester, STS-117 mission specialist, participates in the mission's second planned session of extravehicular activity (EVA), as construction resumes on the International Space Station. Among other tasks, Forrester and astronaut Steven Swanson (out of frame), mission specialist, removed all of the launch locks holding the 10-foot-wide solar alpha rotary joint in place and began the solar array retraction.

Fabrica: les yeux ouverts, the exhibition which the Pompidou Centre mounted in Paris in October 2006, starts its journey as a travelling exhibition to debut in Italy at the Milan Triennale from 5 June to 5 July 2007.
Fabrica is Benetton's research centre on communication.
Fabrica presents its documentary (COLORS magazine and photo reports) and experimental (media art, interactive, video, visual communication) projects integrated with new stories and the premières of many new videos. There will also be two new interactive installations to encourage the public’s direct involvement.
