Completely new, energy-saving lighting technologies are the way of the future. That is the conclusion of a study by the Siemens subsidiary Osram, which investigated the trends, technologies and possible customer needs that will be shaping lighting technology in the next 15 years. As the latest issue of the research magazine 'Pictures of the Future' reports, the researchers have shown that the global trend toward sustainability is having a tremendous impact on the development of new light sources such as organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). |GlobalGiants.com|
