Paris, France — French Car Maker Renault took part in Rétromobile from February 5 to 9, 2020, at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition in Paris.
For the first time, the Renault stand at Retromobile hosted a participatory exhibition. Enthusiasts had chosen 10 of the cars on display from a selection of 40 vehicles from the collection offered by Renault Classic.

In early 2019, OMEGA announced the long-awaited return of its iconic Calibre 321. Soon after, in July of the same year, the Swiss watchmaker unveiled the first new timepiece to house the movement - a Moonwatch in platinum.
Next in line for legendary status is OMEGA’s 321-powered Speedmaster in steel.
In 1965, when astronaut Edward White became the first American to walk in space, he was wearing the Speedmaster ST 105.003. OMEGA’s latest offering takes inspiration from that famous model.
The 39.70 mm case in stainless steel, influenced by the same 3rd generation style that Ed White wore, features a bezel ring in polished black ceramic with a tachymeter scale in white enamel. Gracing the black step dial are the familiar Moonwatch hands, small seconds sub-dial, 30-minute recorder and 12-hour recorder, and central chronograph hand.
The original Calibre 321 was the first movement ever used in the OMEGA Speedmaster in 1957.
After extensive research and reconstruction in a dedicated workshop, the Calibre 321 was recreated in-line with its original specifications, and released in time for the 50th anniversary of the first lunar landing.
The Calibre 321 Movement is now the driving force behind not one, but two Moonwatch models, including the spectacular new OMEGA Speedmaster in steel.

Valencia, Spain, December 09, 2019 — In a historic moment for both Lewis Hamilton and Valentino Rossi, and their respective sports, the pair completed a fantastic track day as each swapped machinery yesterday at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo.
Valentino Rossi drove The Mercedes-AMG F1 W08 EQ Power+, a car that won the 2017 FIA Formula One World Championship at the hands of Lewis Hamilton. And Lewis rode the 2019 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP YZR-M1 bike that only weeks earlier had been piloted by Valentino at the very same circuit.
The pair was able to complete multiple runs on each other’s machinery and share insights and learnings about each other’s craft.
The six-time Formula One World Champion, Lewis Hamilton:
“It’s so awesome to see a legend like Valentino in the car. I’m excited for him to discover the car for the first time. It reminds me of my first time in an F1 car. When you see all the team around you, it’s just a different animal.”
Of his time out on track riding the Yamaha YZR-M1 with Rossi, he added, “It was so cool to be out on track and see Valentino ahead of me on the same bike.”
For the nine-time MotoGP World Champion, Valentino Rossi:
“I was a big fan of Lewis’ before, but now I am even more. We had a fantastic day where the two top classes of motorsports not only met but worked together. I felt like a real F1 driver for a day. I didn’t want the day to end.
“I also rode the YZR-M1 on track with Lewis. It was a proud moment for the team to share our passion with him. Technically, Valencia is a hard track, and today was windy, so at one point, I thought it would be difficult for Lewis to continue, but he was brilliant on the bike, and his position on the M1 was great. I think he had loads of fun, which is the main thing.”

Stuttgart, Germany - At one o’clock in the morning, while most people are sleeping, Inga Balke sets up shop every day at Hamburg’s wholesale flower market where she brings her plants to her customers. With the advent period now in full swing, she mostly has poinsettias on-board her Mercedes-Benz Atego 818. This morning she is loaded up with 25 four-tier transport trolleys full of these magnificent potted plants. Until 8:30 in the morning, Balke will be trading with the florists from the region. Then she returns to her greenhouses, makes sure everything is running smoothly before doing a spot of paperwork.
Inga Balke heads up the Krayenhagen nursery, a family-run business with over a hundred years of history, located around half an hour’s drive to the north of Hamburg. A trained horticulturist, Balke, and her team of around a dozen employees have nurtured the poinsettias over the last few weeks. The red Atego with Wilke box body and Webasto heating is generally driven to Hamburg by her driver. But if he’s on holiday or ill, Balke also enjoys getting behind the wheel herself. “It’s not a problem for me. The truck is fairly large, but it’s almost like driving a passenger car.” The entrepreneur especially likes the PowerShift 3 automated transmission. “You don’t have to change gear and can concentrate entirely on the traffic.”
Poinsettias are tropical plants that originate from Mexico. Growing them begins every year in Africa. From there, the tiny cuttings are flown to Europe in the freight hold of passenger planes. The poinsettias then rise to their full size at nurseries like that of Inga Balke until they develop their colorful crown and are ready to adorn people’s living rooms during the advent period.

OMEGA has unveiled 007’s newest timepiece that will feature in the 25th James Bond film, No Time To Die, set to arrive in cinemas in April 2020.
When James Bond embarks on his next mission, a new OMEGA watch will appear on the screen. OMEGA has built the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition with military needs in mind. The watchmaker has designed the watch with input from the actor, Daniel Craig. OMEGA will place this non-limited watch in its iconic current collection from February — available to customers either on a titanium mesh bracelet, or a striped NATO strap in dark brown, grey and beige, with 007 engraved on the loop.
OMEGA said it had crafted each 42 mm timepiece’s case and bracelet from Grade 2 Titanium. This unique material is particularly durable and lightweight, making it perfect for an undercover agent. Special new doming of the sapphire-crystal glass has also created a slightly slimmer watch than the standard Seamaster Diver 300M models, OMEGA elaborated.

Berlin, October 24, 2019: Tonight, Amazon Fashion celebrated the exclusive launch party of “Destination Denim“ at Kühlhaus Berlin in Kreuzberg - its first experiential online and offline fashion event for customers. Destination Denim is a free four-day extravaganza at Kühlhaus Berlin that fuses fashion, tech, music, and culture.
After the welcome dinner, hosted by Michelin star chef Tim Raue, around 500 guests and Amazon Fashion customers were invited to enjoy an intimate gig by Liam Payne. The multi-award-winning artist captivated the audience with his energetic live show. Among the audience were numerous VIPs and fashion influencers such as Ann Kathrin Götze, Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht, Nazan Eckes, and Caro Daur. Stefanie Giesinger, Leonie Hanne, and Carmen Mercedes, aka Carmushka, rocked the latest denim styles of Amazon Fashion. The companies that participated in the roundtable had a combined net worth of US$ 16.4 trillion, of which their net worth in India is US$ 50 billion.

The participants appreciated the great strides made by India in striving towards Ease of Doing Business and many reforms which have led to a conducive environment for investors. The leaders mentioned that their companies remained committed to growing their footprint in India.
The CEOs briefly outlined their specific plans in India and also put forth recommendations to aid India’s efforts towards skill development, Digital India, Make in India, inclusive growth, green energy, and financial inclusion.
In response to the CEOs’ comments, the Prime Minister stressed upon continued political stability, predictability of policy, and pro-development and pro-growth policies. He further emphasized the development of tourism, plastic recycling, and waste management initiatives. He urged the companies to leverage the Startup India innovation platforms in partnership with other countries - to make solutions not only for India but for the world, including challenging issues like nutrition and waste management.

PURCHASE, NY - July 26, 2019 - According to Mastercard’s newest edition of its Global Destination Cities Index, Mainland Chinese are traveling overseas for business and leisure in higher numbers than ever before. Mastercard’s special report, “Global Destination Cities Index: Origins,” released today, turns its lens on where international travelers originate. Mainland China has jumped from No. 7 in 2009 to No. 2 today, behind only the United States in terms of the number of travelers to overseas destinations.
Mastercard’s “Global Destination Cities Index: Origins” individually ranks from where most people travel internationally and their top destinations. According to the World Travel & Tourism Council, the industry contributed a record US$8.8 trillion and 319 million jobs in 2018 globally.
This year, the United States is the No. 1 origin market followed by mainland China, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France. Travel from across Asia-Pacific also surged; the Republic of Korea and Taiwan, which were not in the top 10 a decade ago, rose to No. 6 and No. 10 respectively. The top origin markets are:

The Mastercard “Global Destination Cities Index” ranks 200 cities based on third-party research and proprietary analysis. It takes into account the number of total international overnight visitor arrivals and the cross-border spending by these same visitors in the destination cities in 2018.
