FORD THAILAND: NEW FORD EVEREST AND FORD RANGER 5 SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

Bangkok , Thailand, December, 2006 – Ford Thailand is set to create excitement for motorists and car lovers alike with the public debut of the New Ford Everest and New Ford Ranger Double Cab with 5-speed automatic transmission along with a full range of innovative products and irresistible promotional packages, at Thailand’s 23 rd International Motor Expo 2006.

For the first time, Ford Thailand will debut two new vehicles simultaneously -- the New Ford Everest seven-seater family SUV and the All New Ford Ranger Double Cab powerful pickup. The two new models come with a 5-speed automatic transmission system which complements the Duratorq common-rail engine offering continuous acceleration, making the vehicle perfect for both urban and off road driving while providing the best possible fuel economy for motorists.
This year Ford Thailand is also ready to ‘Make Every Day Exciting’ at the Motor Show by hosting a mini concert of AF3 stars on December 5 and 11. Other entertainment activities include special DJ spin show, a one-hour Q&A “Motor Talk” session with the racers of the Ford Racing Thailand team and warm welcome from the “Happy Feet” mascots.
