AUBURN HILLS, Mich., May 10 -- Volkswagen of America, Inc. has officially entered two Volkswagen Motorsport Dakar Rally vehicles in this year's running of the Tecate SCORE Baja 500, June 1-3, 2007. This will be the first race for the Race Touareg 2 vehicles in North America, and also marks the first ever Volkswagen factory racing entry in the legendary SCORE desert series racing. The Queen and President George W. Bush celebrated the ties between Britain and America in the grandest dinner of his tenure at the White House.
At a joint appearance before the lavish affair, President Bush said that The United States was a nation the Queen “had come to know very well”, he said. “After all, you’ve dined with 10 US presidents. You helped our nation celebrate its bicentennial in 17 - 1976.”
Turning back, Mr Bush prompted the Queen to laugh as he said with a smile: “She gave me a look that only a mother could give a child.”
