Academy Awards: “The Artist” wins the Oscar for Best Picture

“The Artist” won the Oscar for best picture on Sunday night at the 84th annual Academy Awards.

The producer, Thomas Langmann, and the director, Michel Hazanavicius, accepted the award.

The film also won awards for best director, best actor, best original score and costume design.
