New Delhi, April 11, 2019 — Faster, more powerful and more efficient than ever before, the eighth generation of the Porsche 911 has arrived in India. Revealed on track at the Buddh International Circuit, Noida, near New Delhi, the 911 Carrera S highlighted the design and performance evolution of the brand’s most iconic sports car. The rear-engine model range has been redesigned and now showcases a more muscular look that pays tribute to its past, while also embracing the future with technology woven into its DNA.
Speaking during the launch event at the FIA certified track, Pavan Shetty, Director of Porsche India, said: “Just like the first generation, the latest 911 is a sports car for the new era. Our icon has once again evolved and is now more powerful, more emotional, and more efficient than its predecessors. It is the best 911 Porsche has ever produced and to prove that point we have brought the range to the Buddh International Circuit for a performance showcase. The eighth generation maintains the 911’s status as a pure driver’s car that also offers everyday usability and unique design. As such, I am delighted to announce that the 911 Carrera S and the 911 Carrera S Cabriolet are now available in India for booking.”

Utterly brilliant day hammering hot laps at #BIC on @Porsche_India #PWRS sampling new 911. What a magnificent car! The steering is so agile & precise, grip so breathtaking, acceleration so hard and driver involvement is MEGA. Loved it. Only problem - I now want one pic.twitter.com/iPXrbnBfcV
