Climate Activist Greta Thunberg Arrives in New York by Sailboat

Photos: Greta Thunberg, the 16-year-old climate activist from Sweden, sailed into New York Harbor today flanked by a fleet of 17 sailboats. Each sailboat represents one of the Sustainable Development Goals on their sails. Greta Thunberg embarked on a trans-Atlantic voyage on 14 August from Plymouth, England to New York City on a solar-powered, zero-emission racing boat, the Malizia II.
