Miss Jamaica, Toni-Ann Singh, crowned Miss World 2019
London, 14 December 2019 — Tony-Ann Singh of Jamaica won the Miss World 2019 beauty pageant held at the ExCeL London today. She was crowned by her predecessor, Miss World 2018 Vanessa Ponce, from Mexico. Ophely Mezino of France and Suman Rao of India were the first and second runners up, respectively.
Singh, who had secured her place in the top 40 by winning the talent competition at the “Beauty with a Purpose” Gala Dinner in London, advanced to the final round of the contest along with Miss Nigeria, Miss Brazil, Miss India, and Miss France.
