While launching the Chandigarh University Financial Aid Scheme, Satnam Singh Sandhu said, “Getting access to quality education is a fundamental right of every student. Financial constraints should not pose any hindrance in the path of deserving and meritorious students. The newly launched scheme follows the financial assistance policies extended by top Universities in Western Countries like the USA, UK, Canada, to attract the best of talent across the world.” Chandigarh University Financial Aid Scheme is the first of its kind in India. A committee comprising of senior authorities of the University would scrutinize the application and recommend the quantum of financial aid. The institution would, through the online portal, automatically communicate to the student the recommended amount of financial aid.”

Chancellor Satnam Singh Sandhu further said, “In addition to above, Chandigarh University has signed MoUs with a consortium of Public and Private Sector Banks which will offer collateral-free education loans to the students.
