India to host Miss World 2023 after 27 years.

New Delhi, June 08, 2023: The Miss World Organization has selected India as the host country for the 71st Miss World 2023 pageant.
The Miss World Organization said it awarded this honor to India for its rich cultural heritage, diversity, and women empowerment. The organization remarked that India is renowned for its vibrant traditions, culture, and history, making it a global beauty and fashion powerhouse with captivating landscapes, iconic landmarks, and warm hospitality.
The 71st Miss World 2023 in India will promote philanthropic activities and inspire contestants to impact their communities and contribute to society positively.
The event promises to showcase contestants from over 130 countries in a one-month journey across “Incredible India” before the grand finale in December 2023.
The pageant provides a platform for women to celebrate beauty, diversity, and empowerment beyond physical appearances and to advocate for causes close to their hearts.
