New Delhi, August 16, 2023 — A US Congressional delegation of eight members from the House of Representatives called on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today.
The delegation expressed bipartisan support for India-US relations, which the Prime Minister warmly welcomed. Both parties emphasized that the partnership reflects shared democratic values, respect for the rule of law, and strong people-to-people ties. The Prime Minister also noted his recent State Visit to the US in June, during which he had the honor of addressing the US Congress for a second time.
