New Delhi, September 25, 2023 — Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak at the G20 University Connect Finale program on September 26, 2023, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, starting at 4 PM.
The G20 University Connect initiative aims to educate India’s youth about India’s G20 Presidency and encourage their involvement in G20 events. Over 100,000 students from universities across the country participated in the program, initially planned to commemorate India’s 75 years of independence with 75 universities but later included 101 universities.
The G20 University Connect initiative hosted several programs nationwide, with extensive participation from higher education institutions. The program initially targeted universities, but it eventually grew to include schools and colleges, reaching an even wider audience.
Approximately 3,000 students, faculty members, and vice chancellors from participating universities in and around New Delhi will attend the G20 University Connect Finale. Additionally, students from across India will join the event live.
