Academy announces International Feature Films eligible for the 96th Oscars.

LOS ANGELES, CA, December 07, 2023 — The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced the list of feature films eligible for consideration in the International Feature Film category for the 96th Academy Awards.
Eighty-eight countries or regions have submitted films that qualify for the International Feature Film category.
An international film must be a feature-length motion picture (more than 40 minutes long) produced outside the United States with a predominantly non-English dialogue track.
The Academy has invited members from all branches to participate in the preliminary round of voting. However, they must meet a minimum viewing requirement to be eligible to vote in this category.

The Academy will announce the shortlist of 15 international films on Thursday, December 21, 2023. It will reveal the Nominations for the 96th Academy Awards on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
The 96th Oscars ceremony will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and broadcast live on A.B.C. and over 200 territories worldwide.
