New Delhi, India, September 27, 2024 — On the occasion of World Tourism Day on September 27, 2024, the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, launched the Incredible India Content Hub on the revamped Incredible India digital portal www.incredibleindia.gov.in

The Incredible India Content Hub is a comprehensive digital repository with a rich collection of high-quality images, films, brochures, and newsletters related to tourism in India. This repository is for diverse stakeholders, including tour operators, journalists, students, researchers, filmmakers, authors, influencers, content creators, government officials, and ambassadors.

The Content Hub, part of the new Incredible India digital portal, aims to provide a convenient platform for travel trade professionals (such as travel media, tour operators, and travel agents) worldwide to access comprehensive information about Incredible India. The hub currently hosts around 5,000 content assets, which various organizations, including the Ministry of Tourism, the Archaeological Survey of India, the Ministry of Culture, and others, have collaboratively contributed. This initiative will support travel professionals in promoting and showcasing Incredible India in their marketing and promotional activities.

The Incredible India Digital Portal is a tourist-centric, one-stop digital solution designed to enhance the travel experience for visitors to India. The revamped portal offers essential information and services to travelers at every stage of their journey, from discovery and research to planning, booking, traveling, and return.

The updated portal provides a wide range of information about destinations, attractions, crafts, festivals, travel diaries, itineraries, and more. It includes multimedia content such as videos, images, and digital maps. The platform’s ‘Book Your Travel’ feature allows users to book flights, hotels, cabs, buses, and monuments, making it easier for travelers to access these services. In addition, an AI-powered chatbot serves as a virtual assistant to answer questions and provide real-time information to travelers. Other features include weather information, tour operator details, currency converter, airport information, and visa guides.

The Ministry of Tourism will continue to enhance and expand the portal by adding new features, incorporating additional content through crowdsourcing, and collaborating with relevant organizations and institutions. It will ensure that the digital portal remains a constant source of inspiration for everyone interested in exploring Incredible India.
