The Otturatore from de Grisogono is their most impressive recent watch for men. It is a watch that cannot be fully understood or appreciated unless you actually get to play with one. The Otturatore is as strange as its name sounds, yet somehow it ends up being remarkably desirable.
The Otturatore’s basic feature is a mobile clockwise-rotated dial operated simply by pressing a mechanical pushpiece. Along with the hour and minute hands at the center, the Otturatore displays on demand the seconds, the date, the phases of the moon, and the movement’s power reserve. Its greatest originality lies in the selective display of each of these separate indications that can be switched from one to another at a speed 18 times faster than the blink of an eye!

The announcement was made in Delhi during GM CEO Mary Barra’s second visit to the country in 12 months.
Barra, GM Executive Vice President and GM International President, Stefan Jacoby, and GM India President and Managing Director, Arvind Saxena, met with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi today to brief him on Chevrolet’s plans.

NEW YORK, July 22, 2015 - Today adidas unveils The adigirl Collection, a new apparel line designed specifically for the teen athlete. The line — a first of its kind — combines key performance attributes with street style detailing to create a unique, versatile assortment of pieces that bring sport into everyday life. The adigirl Collection draws inspiration from five team sports - basketball, volleyball, track, softball and soccer — each popular with the teen athlete.
“adigirl was created to specifically meet the needs of the female teen athlete and provides her with versatile options that can be worn for more than just practice,” says Katie Becker, Senior Design Director for adidas Training and Sportswear. “We brought a fashion element to the design process that adds a fresh look and style that is unique to the adigirl Collection.”
Bold color is a key component to the adigirl aesthetic, with a palette that includes bright reds, deep purples, multiple shades of blue and floral prints, in addition to the always essential shades of concrete grey and black. Equally important is the collection’s acute attention to details, many of which are a perfect union of fashion and function.
“The adigirl is an athlete at her core but we have to acknowledge the powerful, multi-faceted teen that she is. This collection intends to address the needs of her demanding lifestyle, uniting sport with style,” says Kate Ridley, Vice President of adidas Training. “The launch of this collection is a part of our ongoing dedication to the female athlete and the way we both speak and create product specifically with her in mind.”

Italian luxury car manufacturer Maserati has announced its re-entry into the Indian market. The renewed focus on the Indian market is in line with Maserati’s growth strategy as the market bears significant potential for the brand over the medium term.
Maserati has grown its worldwide annual sales to 36,500 units in 2014 through entering new markets and new additions to its product portfolio. The GranTurismo and GranCabrio were joined by the 6th generation of the Quattroporte and the new Ghibli - Maserati’s first four-door sports executive sedan in the E-segment. All models are being produced in Maserati’s native Italy.
Maserati enters the market using the synergies of the Group and will operate out of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles India (FCAI). Three dealerships are planned to open in the major hubs of New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore in the third quarter of 2015. AMP Supercars Pvt. Ltd., Bagga Luxury Motorcars LLP and Jubilant Autoworks Pvt. Ltd. will be representing Maserati in the respective areas. Dedicated Maserati service facilities, which are fully in line with Maserati global standards, are also planned for all locations. All showroom and service personnel will be trained by authorized Maserati Trainers.
The newly appointed Head of Operations for India, Mr. Bojan Jankulovski, commented on the announcement: “Driving a Maserati is like wearing a tailor-made suit in a world of uniforms. Our re-entry into the Indian market is a commitment to our customers as there is a definitive demand for exclusive luxury products, including cars, in the market. By entering India, and other new markets around the world, we are able to grow by expansion.” Mr. Jankulovski brings with him over 15 years of experience in the automotive industry covering the areas of sales, after-sales and network development in particular. Under his lead, Maserati has established itself in five markets in the Middle East and South East Asia in the past two years.
Umberto Cini, Managing Director of Maserati Middle East, India and Africa, was present at the announcement press conference and shed further light on the Trident brand’s plans: “Maserati stands for Italian design, performance, craftsmanship and heritage, and of course uniqueness. This new market entry is a significant step for our brand in its over 100 years history. We will focus on exclusivity and hence our goal in terms of annual sales in India will be in the two-digit range.”

Bearing the new codes of the rejuvenated Instrumento N°Uno collection, the de Grisogono Instrumento N°Uno Annual Calendar Mens Watch maintains its assertive traits and emblematic silhouette.
The annual calendar derives its name from its ability to run for an entire year without adjustment. Once a year, at the end of February, the calendar requires manual correction. With its streamlined design, the dial architecture has been completely updated in order to free up as much space as possible to highlight the month and small seconds counters. In addition, the arabesques of the 5, 6, 7 numerals have been removed. To ensure optimal readability, the day display has been enlarged. It features an asymmetrical effect based on a large date at 12 o’clock, month at 8 o’clock and small seconds at 5 o’clock.
The asymmetrical design is rounded off with the new integrated bracelet perfectly integrated with the 18-karat rose gold case. The final result is the masculine and sporty look of the watch.
