Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and adidas Announce Multi-Year Partnership as Official Kit Sponsor of the Indian Cricket Team


• The global sportswear brand will now design and manufacture jerseys, kits, and other merchandise for India’s Men’s, Women’s, and U-19 teams.

New Delhi, Delhi, India: May 24, 2023 — The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Adidas have formed a new partnership, with Adidas becoming the exclusive kit sponsor for the BCCI. The contract will run until March 2028 and cover all game formats. Adidas will be the sole supplier of match, training, and travel wear for all BCCI’s teams, including the men’s, women’s, and youth teams. The new kit, featuring the iconic three stripes, will be debuted during the World Test Championship Finals in June 2023.

Cricket is the most popular sport in India and continues to grow worldwide, with increasing elite competition and grassroots growth. Indian Cricket has a world-class youth system, a top domestic league, and a globally revered cricketing identity.

The partnership between the BCCI and Adidas will drive the sport forward both on and off the pitch. Adidas has a long history of providing the best footwear and apparel to some of the world’s best teams and will bring its expertise to Indian Cricket. The two organizations will also inspire the next generation of young cricketers and grow the game for all.

With a rich history in sports and innovative agreements with other top teams and organizations around the globe, Adidas’s new partnership with the BCCI will further enhance the brand’s presence across the region and strengthen its commitment to growing sports in India. The alliance will also cover India’s “A” and “B” teams and the U-19 teams, coaches, and staff.
