New Delhi, May 28, 2023 — Today, India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, unveiled the new Parliament House, symbolizing the country’s dreams and aspirations. He installed the Sengol with Nandi during the inauguration, offering flowers and lighting up the Diya.

The Prime Minister described the new Parliament building as more than just a structure. He considers it a “temple of our democracy,” sending the world a powerful message of India’s resolution. He believes that the world is watching India, and as India moves forward, so too will the world.

The Prime Minister highlighted the new Parliament House’s importance as a symbol of India’s determination to tread new paths and achieve new goals. He expressed his happiness that the building is equipped with the latest technology and has sunlit halls, which will strengthen the nation’s belief in its success.

The Prime Minister noted the crucial role of Parliament in uplifting society’s marginalized communities, empowering the poor, backward, tribal, disabled, and every deprived family. He hopes every decision in the new Parliament House will strengthen the coming generations and adorn the future centuries.

The Prime Minister concluded by expressing his confidence that the new Parliament building would become the basis for creating a new, prosperous, strong, and developed India.
