A Special Stamp to celebrate Ducati's conquest of the 2022 MotoGP World Title
Ducati begins Italian Grand Prix Friday at the Mugello circuit with the presentation of a unique stamp dedicated to its 2022 MotoGP World Championship victory.

Bologna, Italy, June 09, 2023 -— Ducati has had an incredible 2022 racing season, winning the Riders’, Teams’, and Manufacturers’ titles in the MotoGP World Championship. To commemorate this fantastic achievement, they have released a unique stamp expected to become a sought-after item for all Ducati fans and enthusiasts.
On June 09, 2023, the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy held an official ceremony to present the stamp. The event occurred during a press conference at the Ducati Lenovo Team’s hospitality unit as they were getting ready for the Italian Grand Prix at the Mugello circuit. Several influential figures, including the General Manager of Ducati Corse, the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, the Head of Philately at Poste Italiane, and the Head of Mint and Philately of the Italian State Printing Office and Mint attended the ceremony.
The General Manager of Ducati Corse expressed his pride and satisfaction at the team’s achievement, stating that their success in 2022 resulted from their hard work and dedication. The Undersecretary of State, Fausta Bergamotto, also paid tribute to Ducati’s sporting accomplishments, stating that the stamp aimed to celebrate a legendary brand that holds a special place in the hearts of millions of Italians.
The stamp features a drawing of Francesco Bagnaia’s Desmosedici GP22, adorned in the colors of the Italian flag created by the Centro Stile Ducati. Bagnaia’s exceptional performance, which included seven victories, ten podiums, and five pole positions, earned him the world title. He became the first Italian rider to win the riders’ title in MotoGP while riding an Italian bike. Ducati also became the only European motorcycle manufacturer to have won the World Championship in the premier class for the second time, taking Made in Italy excellence to the pinnacle of the world’s most important motorcycle racing championship.
The stamp is a testament to Ducati’s remarkable achievements and a proud moment for all Ducati fans.

India to host Miss World 2023 after 27 years.

Chandigarh University celebrates 27th Rank in NIRF 2023 Universities India Ranking.

CHANDIGARH, India, June 7, 2023 — Chandigarh University has improved its ranking in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2023 India, securing the 27th spot and becoming the 7th best University in North India. It has also improved its overall rank to 45th compared to last year’s 48th rank and made significant jumps in various disciplines. The University’s Chancellor, Satnam Singh Sandhu, stated that these rankings endorse the excellence and quality of education provided to the students. NIRF outlines a methodology to rank institutions based on teaching, research, and graduation outcomes. CU is a NAAC A+ Grade University offering more than 109 UG and PG programs.

New Delhi, India, June 05, 2023 — Minister of State for Education and External Affairs, Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, today released the India Rankings 2023, which implements the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) drafted for this purpose by the Ministry of Education in 2015. The Secretary (HE) Sanjay Murthy); Prof. M Jagadesh Kumar, Chairman of UGC; Prof. T.G. Sitharam, Chairman of AICTE; Prof. Anil Sahasrabuddhe, Chairman of NETF and NBA; Dr. Abhay Jere, Vice Chairman of AICTE; and Dr. Anil Kumar Nassa, Member Secretary of NBA, were among the attendees, including Vice-Chancellors and Directors of Higher Education Institutions.
During the event, Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan emphasized the importance of ranking and accreditation in evaluating the quality of educational programs offered by colleges and universities. He commended the Ministry of Education for drafting the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2015, which assesses the quality and excellence of HEIs in India across various categories and subject domains and ranks them based on their cumulative score.
Dr. Ranjan also noted how India Rankings had become a valuable tool for students in identifying universities based on their relative standing in various categories and subject domains among HEIs in the country. He mentioned that it has also helped universities identify areas for improvement in teaching, research, resources, and infrastructure.
While Dr. Ranjan was pleased with the increase in the number of institutions applying for ranking in different categories and subject domains, he emphasized the importance of working collectively to bring more institutions under India Rankings and accreditation.
The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), launched in November 2015 by the Ministry of Education, has been used for this edition and the previous seven editions of India Rankings. The NIRF identifies five broad categories of parameters and their weightage on a scale of 1 to 10, including Teaching, Learning & Resources, Research and Professional Practice, Graduation Outcome, Outreach and Inclusivity, and Perception.
Overall, the increase in the number of applicants and institutions ranked in India’s Rankings from 2016 to 2023 is a positive development, and the continued efforts towards collective improvement and inclusion will only further enhance the quality of higher education institutions in India.

Washington, DC, June 02, 2023 — India’s Congress leader Rahul Gandhi emphasized the significance of Indian democracy as a global public good, stating that its downfall would impact India and the World, including America’s national interest.
However, he also acknowledged that the issue of democracy is an internal matter of India, and he is committed to fighting against any suppression of democratic values in the country.
During a Thursday news conference at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, Gandhi spoke about India’s strengths, including its highly educated and technically skilled population and democratic values.
He also stressed the need for an alternative vision and the core elements of that vision to face the challenge of transitioning in mobility, energy, and communication. Additionally, while cooperation on defense is crucial, expanding the relationship between India and the United States is equally important to enhance security, Gandhi asserted.
