LOS ANGELES, CA, March 11, 2024 - The 96th Academy Awards ceremony, also known as the Oscars 2024, occurred on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. It was broadcast live on A.B.C. and in over 200 countries worldwide.

Oppenheimer, a biographical thriller directed by Christopher Nolan, was the big night winner, taking home seven awards, including Best Picture. Nolan and actors Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr earned awards for Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actor, respectively. The event ended with a flourish at the Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles.
