Shri Modi also unveiled a commemorative coin to mark this significant milestone during the event. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) commenced its operations on April 1, 1935, and today marks its 90th year.
In his address, the Prime Minister emphasized the historic significance of the RBI completing 90 years of service. The Prime Minister congratulated all staff on this achievement and expressed optimism about the RBI’s current policies.
