UGC India invites Higher Education Institutions to join Chandrayaan Utsav and the Town Hall for Chandrayaan-3's Success.

New Delhi, September 01, 2023 — The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced that it will be organizing a mega town hall in a hybrid format to celebrate the successful Chandrayaan-3 mission. About 200 higher education institutions (HEIs) will participate in the event to celebrate this significant achievement. India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, will address the town hall.

The success of Chandrayaan-3 holds the promise of inspiring young minds to join the realms of space exploration and science, the UGC said. ISRO scientists will make a presentation at the event and answer questions from students. The ISRO display will showcase the scientific impact of this mission and how it can contribute to space exploration.

This event inspires and encourages students to pursue space exploration and scientific research.
