Bologna, Italy, June 09, 2023 -— Ducati has had an incredible 2022 racing season, winning the Riders’, Teams’, and Manufacturers’ titles in the MotoGP World Championship. To commemorate this fantastic achievement, they have released a unique stamp expected to become a sought-after item for all Ducati fans and enthusiasts.

On June 09, 2023, the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy held an official ceremony to present the stamp. The event occurred during a press conference at the Ducati Lenovo Team’s hospitality unit as they were getting ready for the Italian Grand Prix at the Mugello circuit. Several influential figures, including the General Manager of Ducati Corse, the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, the Head of Philately at Poste Italiane, and the Head of Mint and Philately of the Italian State Printing Office and Mint attended the ceremony.

The General Manager of Ducati Corse expressed his pride and satisfaction at the team’s achievement, stating that their success in 2022 resulted from their hard work and dedication. The Undersecretary of State, Fausta Bergamotto, also paid tribute to Ducati’s sporting accomplishments, stating that the stamp aimed to celebrate a legendary brand that holds a special place in the hearts of millions of Italians.

The stamp features a drawing of Francesco Bagnaia’s Desmosedici GP22, adorned in the colors of the Italian flag created by the Centro Stile Ducati. Bagnaia’s exceptional performance, which included seven victories, ten podiums, and five pole positions, earned him the world title. He became the first Italian rider to win the riders’ title in MotoGP while riding an Italian bike. Ducati also became the only European motorcycle manufacturer to have won the World Championship in the premier class for the second time, taking Made in Italy excellence to the pinnacle of the world’s most important motorcycle racing championship.

The stamp is a testament to Ducati’s remarkable achievements and a proud moment for all Ducati fans.

The contract will run until March 2028 and cover all game formats. VIENNA, May 10, 2023 — “The average week typically sees us spending more time interacting at work with co-workers than with family and friends, so when it comes to showing kindness and gratitude, what better place to start than at work,” says premium coffee roaster Julius Meinl.

In a global study of 4,000 adults across Europe, Julius Meinl found that two in three people agree that ‘thank you’ isn’t enough in the workplace.

Over half said bosses expect an excellent job done all the time, while 40% cited “time pressures” as one of the main reasons a ‘thanks’ often goes amiss at work.

But, building a culture of gratitude at work has benefits to both those expressing and receiving thanks. For example, 81% agreed that hearing ‘thank you’ from their boss positively impacted their day, while three-fifths said it made them feel appreciated. Just under half said it motivated them to work harder.

Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, May 04, 2023 — Pecco Bagnaia took another extraordinary victory in the MotoGP Spanish GP this afternoon at the Circuito de Jerez - Angel Nieto. The Ducati Lenovo Team rider did an impeccable race at the Andalusian track, which led him to score his thirteenth success in MotoGP and his second of the season.

As in yesterday’s Sprint race, today’s GP was interrupted shortly after the start due to a crash and restarted after a few minutes. Starting with the fifth fastest time, Pecco moved up to third immediately and overtook Jack Miller (KTM Factory Racing). But then he had to give up his position to the Australian rider due to a questionable race direction decision that deemed his overtaking maneuver unfair, even though there was no contact between the two riders.

However, Bagnaia maintained concentration and managed to catch Miller again, reducing the gap to Brad Binder. With a few laps to go, the rider from Chivasso caught up with the South African rider, passing him with five laps to go. Thanks to today’s success, Bagnaia returns to the top of the overall standings with a 22-point lead over fellow Ducati rider Bezzecchi (VR46 Racing Team). Ducati remains at the top of the constructors’ standings, while the Ducati Lenovo Team is fourth in the teams’ standings.

FREEDOM, Maine, May 03, 2023 — With the 2023 U.S. Flag stamp, the U.S. Postal Service honors an important symbol of its nation. The flag serves as a visual reminder of the array of freedoms that Americans enjoy. This stamp displays the banner in its full glory, seven red and six white bars straight and true, with 50 white stars sharply defined on a blue field.

The flag’s design dates to 1777, when the Continental Congress specified 13 horizontal stripes and 13 stars to honor the 13 original colonies. Various versions of the early flag continued to be used until, in 1818, the U.S. Congress standardized the design, mandating 13 stripes forever but a star for every state.

In the mid-1950s, anticipating statehood for Alaska and Hawaii, President Dwight D. Eisenhower appointed a committee to create designs for two new flags. The last time the flag’s design changed was July 4, 1960, with the entrance of Hawaii into the United States the previous August.

The U.S. Flag Forever stamp will be sold in booklets and panes of 20 and coils of 100, 3,000, and 10,000. Providing a solid foundation for the flag is the word FREEDOM.

Antonio Alcalá, an art director for USPS, designed the stamp with existing art by Hong Li.

MUMBAI, India, April 25, 2023 — To celebrate its 1st opening, Pret hosted the freshest breakfast in town before it opened its doors to customers on the Morning of April 21. It had over a hundred coffee lovers like actress Sara Ali Khan invited to enjoy their London breakfast right in the heart of Mumbai. NEW YORK, April 20, 2023 — H&M and Mugler celebrated their forthcoming collection launch with an immersive experience encompassing entertainment, music, performance, and fashion. The Mugler and H&M community’s friends, including Pamela Anderson, Charli XCX, Chloë Sevigny, Lourdes Leon, and Dominique Jackson, attended the event. They all wore pieces from the Mugler H&M collection.

The event featured a group concert by musicians Shygirl, Amaarae, and Eartheater, who all starred in the Mugler H&M music video. They were dressed in exclusive looks from the new collection. Each artist performed a series of their hits before uniting to serve a new version of the 90s club classic “Music Sounds Better With You,” a track specially commissioned in celebration of the Mugler H&M collection.

The performances were punctuated by a runway show, alongside dance performances and DJ sets by Bobby Beethoven, Goth Jafar, and Asmara at a subsequent after-party. The event was curated as a unique hybrid, bringing together sound, style, live performance, club culture, and dance, all while nodding to the theatricality and flamboyance that has been a signature of the house from its inception under Thierry Mugler through to its current incarnation under the direction of Casey Cadwallader. With over 800 guests in attendance, the event encapsulated the sense of diversity and inclusivity central to Mugler while underpinning the democratic ethos of the H&M designer collaborations.

LONDON, United Kingdom, Apr. 20, 2023: The world’s first facial recognition technology on a car has made its European debut at Salon Privé London today. Available exclusively on the all-electric Genesis GV60, Face Connect is part of a keyless biometric vehicle entry and engine start.

Genesis’ Face Connect allows drivers to access their car using their face alone - technology already available on millions of smartphones worldwide. Using a facial recognition sensor in the b-pillar of the vehicle with a deep-learning image processing controller, the GV60 can be locked and unlocked without needing a physical key.

Drivers need the physical key once to set up their profile for face recognition entry. Then the car is started using their fingerprint, with all information stored securely via encrypted software in the vehicle and managed via HMI (Human-Machine Interface). Drivers can be reassured that no biometric data is uploaded and stored remotely.

Making its debut in May last year, the GV60 was Genesis’ first all-electric car. With a range of up to 321 miles, at 0-62mph in just four seconds, and the ability to charge from 10-80% in just 18 minutes with the right conditions, the GV60 represents an unmatched level of premium design and technology.

Salon Privé London is held for three days in April in the heart of London, on the lawns of the historic Royal Hospital Chelsea, and is a spectacular collection of the greatest supercars, sports cars, and luxury cars. As well as the most prestigious brands on show, over 60 stunning classic vehicles will be lined up in the Concours de Vente - all available to buy there and then.

“This application of facial recognition and biometric technology on the Genesis GV60 is bringing not just Genesis but the entire industry into the next generation of motoring,” commented Andrew Pilkington, managing director of Genesis Motor UK. “Such state-of-the-art innovations simply demonstrate the commitment that Genesis has to its customers to offer a personalized and seamless experience and the commitment it has to the UK and European market.”

The 2023 Genesis GV60 is available in either Premium, Sport, or Sport Plus versions. In addition, it can be personalized using the online configurator, allowing customers to choose from a range of color and trim options and select a select number of upgrade packages.

Genesis brings premium cars with a luxury experience to Europe. The Korean brand has established itself as a genuine alternative within the premium segment, receiving multiple award wins in 2022.

The poster depicts a June 1968 photo in which Actress Catherine Deneuve is standing on Pampelonne beach, near Saint-Tropez, for the shooting of La Chamade by Alain Cavalier, adapted from the novel by Françoise Sagan.

Catherine Deneuve is a French actress, occasional singer, model, and producer, considered one of the greatest European actresses.
